Description:  The main industry presented in this scrapbook was agriculture in Lancaster County.  This scrapbook contains newspaper clippings referencing farm crops, livestock and vegetables.  Some articles reveal leisure sites within Lancaster County like Musser Park, Landis Valley Museum, Hershey Museum, Hamilton Club, and Watt and Shand Department Store.  While the majority of the book focuses on Lancaster County, other locations are mentioned including York County, Harrisburg, New York City, and New York State. There are obituaries and anniversary announcements in addition to newspaper articles. Industry in Lancaster County constructs a well-rounded perspective on industry and social life of citizens in the area. Judge Benjamin C. Atlee and J. G. Homsher are names that occur frequently.
