We are located at the intersection of Marietta and North President Avenues in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, next to Wheatland, home of President James Buchanan. There is ample off-street parking available. The historical society is located on the grounds of the popular Tanger Arboretum, which features more than 100 species of trees from around the world.

Hours of Operation

Tuesday and Thursday – 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday – 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday and Monday – Closed

Closed all major holidays.

Closings because of inclement weather will be posted on our automated voice mail system. Call 392-4633.

Admission

Exhibitions: Free

Library: $5 per day; Free for members and primary, secondary, and

college students
