Folder 2  Eliza Smith, 1831. Marbled cover. Original poems and sentiments with autographs, newspaper article (poem, 1850), engraving, colored print.

Folder 3  Eliza E. Smith, 1843. Brown cover with gold embossing. Steel plate engravings, handwritten poetry, one autograph.

Folder 4  Sarah Haman, 1832-1839. Marbled cover. Original sentiments with autographs, bible verses, hymn, and colored prints.

Folder 5  Caroline Hay, 1848-1850. "The Token Album." Black cover with gold embossing. Original poems with autographs, engravings.

Folder 6  Maria Hostetter, 1856-1857. Red cover with gold embossing. Original poems with autographs, engravings.

Folder 7  Louisa Wenger, 1856-1858. "Sacred Album." Red with gold embossed cover. Sentiments and original poems with autographs, swatch of cloth, engravings. Gift of William Krantz, 27 October 1994.

Folder 9  Martha Hammer, 1859-1894. "Album of the Heart." Maroon cover with gold lettering. Original poems with autographs, prayers, poems, articles, birthday greeting, growth, health and vaccination record, tributes and obituaries, decals, engravings.

Folder 10  Sarah Reel (formerly Sallie Emreys), 1859-1889. "Leaves of Affection." Red cover with gold and colored embossing. Original poems with autographs, swatches of cloth, name card, engravings.

Folder 11  Mary Killinger, 1860-1862. "Rose Bud Album." Brown with gold inlay cover. Sentiments with autographs, engravings.

Folder 12  Ellie E. Eckert, 1870-1874. "Album." Blue embossed cover with gold lettering. Original poems with autographs, dedicatory, engravings.

Folder 13  Matilda B. Brown, 1878-1882. "Autographs." Black cover with gold and silver embossing. Original sentiments and autographs, ribbon, watercolor drawing, decal, pen and ink prints.

Folder 14  Unknown, 1878-1883. "Floral Album." Maroon with gold embossed cover. Sentiments with autographs, watercolors with autograph, colored prints of flowers.

Folder 15  Alta M. Diller (1865-1953), 1879-1880. "Companion Autographs." Blue cover with gold embossing. Sentiments with autographs, embossed colored mementos. Daughter of Edwin and Cora M. Diller of New Holland. She attended Swarthmore College and was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in New Holland.

Folder 16  Carrie Lillian Gardner (1862-1922), 1880-1884. "Autographs." Maroon cover with gold embossing. Sentiments with autographs, note of ownership. Married to William Lichtenberger of Red Lion. Gift of Marvin Long, 4 November 1955.

Folder 17  Henry C. Lantz, 1881-1883. "Album." Red cover with black and blue embossing. Sentiments with autographs, embossed colored memento.

Folder 18  Bertie (Bertha) Leone Cochran, 1884. "Album." Maroon cover with embossed, colored picture of a girl. Sentiments with autographs, embossed colored memento.

Folder 19  Ada M. Cochran, 1884-1886. "Album." Brown cover with embossed leaves, one silver. Sentiments with autographs, one colored print.

Folder 20  Ada M. Cochran, 1889. "Autographs." Maroon "alligator" cover with embossed gold lettering. Sentiments with autographs.

Folder 22  Amos Frank Hess, 1887. "Album." Blue velvet cover with title made of a silver metal. Sentiments with autographs, one pen and ink drawing.

Folder 23  Agnes Foose, 1888-1894. "Album." Red velvet cover with embossed title. Longfellow Album. Sentiments with autographs, colored prints with lines of poems, embossed colored memento.

Folder 24  Helen ____, 1903-1908. "For Memory's Sake." Blue cover with gold and silver embossing. Sentiments with autographs.

Folder 25  Album with entries in German script. Loose pages in a box that resembles a book. Unknown dates.

Folder 26  Mary D. Nauman, 1861-1864. With signature of James Buchanan. Photocopies of pages with autographs of Lancaster natives or residents. Also, photocopied pages from the Biographical Annals of Lancaster County pertaining to George Nauman. Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ripple, 21 August 2003.

Folder 27  Bertha M. Pegan, 1882-1891. "Album." Maroon cover with gold, silver, and blue embossing and design. Sentiments with autographs. Bertha lived in the Safe Harbor area, was the sister of Roy D. Pegan, and was married to [Martin L.] Urban. Gift of Elaine Venegrin. Transferred from Library, 17 April 2001.

Folder 28      Lydia W. Oberholzer, Spring Grove. 2 albums. Purple cover embossed with gold; picture of young girl with a wheelbarrow. Sentiments with autographs and mementos. 1890-1897. "Album." Red cover with gold and black embossing; picture of house and pond or river. Sentiments with autographs. 1904-1909. Gift of John R. Weiler, 25 October 2001.

Folder 29  Almeda Rutter, 1930-1931. "As It Happened: Memories, Autographs, Snapshots." Blue cover with gold embossing. Sentiments, autographs, cards, graduation collar, and photographs. Some items are loose. Gift of Bob Marion (Almeda's son), 25 October 2001.

Insert 1  Typed list of signatures. Newspaper clipping inserted at Jennie's page, October 1881. "May all blessings . . ." was inserted at Maggie's page, December 1880. Emma married Zachariah Hayes. Gift of Elsie H. Landstrom in memory of her father, Paul G. Hayes, 12 August 1994.

 

Folder 31  David Bachman Landis, 1884-1886, 1928. Red velour cover. With album blotter. Sentiments and autographs. Transferred from the objects collection, 2004.

Folder 32  Louisa Regan Lutz, 1855-1885. "Fountain Album." Red cover with gold embossing. Sentiments, poetry, autographs, and prints. Louisa resided in Adamstown when she began using the album. Genealogical information was inserted at front of book. Transferred from the objects collection, 2004.

Folder 33  Sarah Catherine Sheneman, 1855-1860. "Autographs." Brown leather cover with gold embossing. Braids of hair, signatures, and poetry. Transferred from the objects collection, 2005.

Folder 34      Amanda K. Eitnier, Millway, 1882-1894. Yellowish-brown cover with a colorful image of a woman and small boy, animals and flowers. Victorian scraps pasted onto pages of signatures and poetry. Gift of Thomas R. Ryan, Ph.D.
